About The Position

The Ramp Lead Agent at Swissport International AG is responsible for leading and directing the work of ramp agents involved in ground handling operations. This role includes providing training and ensuring quality work is performed according to customer and regulatory guidelines. The Ramp Lead Agent will also manage baggage processes, maintain safety and professionalism, and operate necessary equipment while assisting staff in their duties.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Minimum 1 year experience in the field.
• Good communication skills.
• Some lead experience preferred.
• Ability to work in inclement weather.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent health and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the work of ramp agents involved in ground handling operations.
• Provide training and instruction to ensure quality work is performed.
• Read and interpret load sheets and load/unload aircraft per customer instructions.
• Operate all necessary equipment and perform staff duties as needed.
• Manage the baggage make-up process according to airline specifications.
• Ensure safety and integrity of customer and Swissport assets during operations.
• Maintain a disciplined work environment per company rules and regulations.
• Display professionalism and a positive image at all times.
