About The Position

The position involves repairing or replacing defective pressure vessel parts, such as safety valves or regulators, and includes demolition and structural fitting tasks. The role requires attaching rigging and signaling crane or hoist operators to lift heavy frame and plate sections or other parts into place. Employees will study blueprints to determine locations, relationships, or dimensions of parts and must follow directions from supervisors. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 4-5 years industrial power boiler experience.
• Familiarity with industrial power and hand tools.
• Proficient mechanical skills.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Ability to communicate items of concern found during inspections and walk downs.
• Knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Good aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Good reading comprehension.
• Ability to work with others - team player.
• Good communication skills with co-workers and supervisors.
• Commitment to Zachry values and safety rules and regulations.
• Experience using industrial hand tools and power tools.
• Reliable transportation.
• Knowledge of safety practices to operate equipment.
