About The Position

As a Reconditioning Service Technician II at Cox Automotive, you will play a crucial role in preparing vehicles for customer return by performing cleaning and minor repairs. This position is ideal for individuals who have a passion for cars and take pride in ensuring that vehicles are in pristine condition. You will work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the overall production flow in the body shop.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in body shop and/or prepping; collision and/or mechanical estimating experience.
• Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmissions.
• Valid driver's license required.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Annual Respirator Fit Test documentation.
• Valid HAPS Paint Training Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle cleaning and preparation, including washing, wheel cleaning, waxing, buffing, and polishing.
• Remove finish defects and assist with paint applications and minor repairs.
• Move vehicles to support production flow through detailing and painting processes.
• Keep the shop clean and orderly.
• Perform other duties as assigned by your manager or supervisor.
