About The Position

The BMW Certified Pre-Owned Client Advisor is responsible for selling new or used vehicles while ensuring customer satisfaction. This role involves engaging with customers to determine their vehicle needs, demonstrating vehicle features, and completing the sales process, including paperwork and delivery arrangements. The position emphasizes meeting sales goals and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; higher education preferred (Associate Degree, Bachelor Degree, etc.).
• Prior sales and/or customer service experience desired (up to 3 years preferred).
• Valid Driver's License and Automobile Salesperson License required.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Intermediate ability to learn web applications for customer management.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions and communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of accounting or business principles.

Responsibilities

• Meets dealership sales goals.
• Greets customers and determines the make, type, and quality of vehicle desired.
• Explains features and demonstrates operation of vehicles in the showroom or on demonstration drives.
• Suggests optional equipment for customers to purchase.
• Computes and quotes sales price, including tax, trade-in allowance, and discount.
• Completes paperwork accompanying vehicle sales, including preparing sales slips or sales contracts.
• Arranges for delivery and registration of vehicles.
• Researches availability of models and optional equipment.
• Engages in business development.
• Addresses customer concerns.
• Maintains CSI at or above company standards.
• Maintains an organized, clean, and safe work area.
• Participates in required training.
• Records all hours worked accurately in the company timekeeping system.
• Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.
• Demonstrates the company's core values.
• Complies with company policies and procedures.
• Observes all federal, state, local, and company safety rules and regulations.
