We're looking for an experienced Medical Equipment Engineer to join our on-site Siemens Healthcare team at Worcestershire Acute Hospital Trust. In this essential role, you'll deliver a range of engineering services to support our Managed Equipment Service (MES) contract, ensuring exceptional service quality and high customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Degree or HNC/D in Medical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience in an engineering setting.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities and experience with service management software and Microsoft IT packages.
  • Clean driving license for occasional travel.
  • Proven expertise in medical engineering, ideally within the NHS or private healthcare.
  • Commitment to compliance and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate, diagnose, and repair a wide range of medical equipment, including infusion devices, electrosurgical equipment, anaesthetic machines, vital signs monitors, and ventilators.
  • Perform routine maintenance and servicing according to pre-planned schedules, ensuring equipment reliability and compliance with MHRA guidelines.
  • Ensure all MES services align with company standards for Compliance, Quality, and Health & Safety.
  • Deliver a customer-facing service that meets KPIs and maintains high satisfaction levels among hospital staff.
  • Participate in the on-call rota to provide timely out-of-hours support as required.
  • Uphold a professional and respectful demeanor while representing Siemens Healthcare on-site.
