About The Position

The Bilingual HR Coordinator will support the HR team of a local non-profit organization dedicated to providing jobs for individuals with disabilities. This role involves facilitating onboarding processes, ensuring compliance with employment regulations, and serving as a primary liaison for Spanish-speaking employees.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of dynamic HR experience
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Personable, detail-oriented, outgoing, and highly communicative

Responsibilities

  • Initiates new employee onboarding for core employees by facilitating background checks.
  • Completes the company's onboarding process including entering HR systems and creating new employee files.
  • Coordinates the completion of I-9 forms for all new or re-hired employees to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Initiates and monitors E-Verify; coordinates follow-up requirements with Human Resources.
  • Coordinates New Hire Orientation, including scheduling of new employees and distributing necessary paperwork.
  • Acts as a primary point of contact for questions during the onboarding process.
  • Completes entries into the HRIS, including new hire information, time changes, and department changes.
  • Provides administrative office support and answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees.
  • Maintains the accuracy and security of all HR-related files in accordance with the records retention policy.
  • Acts as the first point of contact for any visitors.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
