Requirements

• Good interpersonal skills and a positive attitude toward problem-solving.
• Specific age-specific competencies to deal with the needs of the patient population served.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care in a safe and therapeutic environment.
• Conduct daily assessments and implement treatment plans.
• Instruct residents in activities of daily living skills, both individually and in groups.
• Participate in behavior management appropriate to the population served.
• Assist clients with daily living skills and participate in daily activities.
• Perform household duties as needed.
