This is a 1 FTE position with a work year including 202 work days. The BCBA will create and support special education programming across the district. The BCBA will primarily be responsible for training staff on practices related to working with students who benefit from skill acquisition through direct trial instruction and building programming for students who require individualized services related to behavior and how it impacts instruction and communication. The BCBA will work closely with district staff to build skills in the area of behavioral assessment and programming. The BCBA will write Functional Behavior Assessments and interventions to accompany those assessments. The BCBA will help design and monitor data collection for students within the district. They will provide training and supervision to staff to ensure appropriate implementation of behavioral programs and data collection. The BCBA will conduct supervision meetings with direct care staff to ensure adherence to all professional and best practice guidelines. The BCBA will be a member of the Director of Student Services Leadership team and will report to the Director and Assistant Director of Student Services to monitor adherence to all ethical and professional guidelines set forth by The Winchester Public Schools and the BACB.
