About The Position

The Bartender Banquet Extra position prepares ordered drinks with proper portions and ingredients. This position requires a NJ CER LICENSE. The Banquet Extra Bartenders are used exclusively for Banquet Functions on a rotating basis.

Requirements

• Requires knowledge of operating a cash register and bar equipment.
• Certified bartender, as required by the Bartenders Union.

• Maintains an upbeat and positive attitude, creates positive energy with gestures and sustains enthusiasm from one interaction to the next.
• Creates an atmosphere of luck and celebrates guest's wins.
• Is ready to serve and is informed of daily information; builds relationships by greeting guests with a warm, friendly verbal greeting.
• Anticipates needs and provides fast, flawless service.
• Checks for satisfaction and effectively resolves service breakdowns when they exist.
• Promotes Total Rewards programs and card membership.
• Provides a warm farewell and thanks guests for visiting.
• Prepares ordered drinks with proper portions and ingredients.
• Operates a cash register, ringing the proper amount into the register and giving guest or waiter/waitress the correct change.
• Maintains a respectful control over guests at all times.
• Resourceful with all beverages, fruit, and supplies in order to maintain low beverage costs.
• Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to guidelines and as outlined in PRIDE certification.
