About The Position

We're looking for a Full-time coffee lover with a passion for exceptional customer service who can work morning shifts. You will be working in a fast paced environment where your barista skills can shine. You will be preparing and serving hot and cold beverages whilst maintaining a clean and organized workspace. In addition you will be supporting on the front line, greeting customers, taking orders, rolling burritos, re-stocking the fridges, basic food prep, wiping tables, and learning other roles across the team. You'll get exposure to every aspect of what goes into running a busy, GYG business.

Requirements

• Completed (or willingness to undertake) Food Safety course.
• Completed (or willingness to undertake) Basset course.
• Experience in a guest service role or food preparation role (highly desirable).
• 2 years of Barista experience.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Personable and approachable disposition.
• Ability to accurately perform simple mathematical tasks required for cash handling.
• Ability and willingness to learn and use point of sale (Micros and EFTPOS), loyalty systems and order management (KDS).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages.
