About The Position

The Bakery Processing Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of processing and baking machinery in a manufacturing environment. This role involves monitoring and adjusting equipment to ensure product quality, following safety and sanitation procedures, and maintaining raw material levels. The operator will work collaboratively within a team to produce high-quality baked goods while adhering to company standards and guidelines.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of production experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Attention to detail and mechanical ability.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Production Technician (CPT) certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate processing/baking equipment to produce products according to quality standards.
• Properly mix ingredients and monitor temperature and moisture levels.
• Communicate and escalate quality issues to team members.
• Read and understand batch sheets and follow recipes accurately.
• Monitor and log temperatures, mix times, and raw material weights.
• Follow sanitation procedures for clean-ups and changeovers.
• Move raw ingredients using material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Maintain proper raw material levels and unload raw materials from trailers.
• Practice safety and hygiene guidelines in the workplace.
• Perform other duties as required.
