Responsibilities

  • Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness with an emphasis on providing fast and friendly Customer Service.
  • Assist customers by making product suggestions, filling special orders, and providing food preparation suggestions.
  • Answer and respond to incoming calls appropriately and resolve customer complaints.
  • Engage in suggestive selling and other sales techniques via telephone and in-store interactions.
  • Assist with all department duties such as preparation, baking, decorating, and displaying of products.
  • Implement proper and efficient product preparation and packaging techniques.
  • Maintain Bakery case cleanliness, visual appeal, and inventory levels.
  • Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of bakery area and equipment.
  • Ensure temperatures are maintained in all phases of preparation, display, and storage.
  • Assist with scheduling, supervising, training, and assigning duties to department employees.
  • Monitor production processes following company procedures and profitability.
  • Prepare sales and inventory reports and assist with physical inventory every 4 weeks.
  • Control inventory to ensure adequate product quantity, quality, and freshness.
  • Build displays, rotate, and discard outdated or spoiled products.
  • Perform receiving duties including breaking down loads, verifying orders, and inspecting quality.
  • Accurately complete and maintain daily log sheets, Production Charts, and other required paperwork.
  • Control shrink and cost.
