Backend / API Engineer, Payouts

The job overview for this role is to work as a Backend Engineer at Stripe, a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. • Scope and lead technical projects, laying the groundwork for product evolution and scalability

• Collaborate with engineers across the company to determine when to leverage existing infrastructure or build bespoke solutions

• Strong technical background with 3+ years of industry experience in building high-quality code and infrastructure
• Knowledge of good practices in building and maintaining APIs and services
• Ability to scope and lead technical projects, laying the groundwork for product evolution and scalability
• Experience in designing and launching new features and capabilities in collaboration with partners
• Alignment of technical decisions with strategic initiatives while advocating for needs specific to emerging new businesses
