Requirements

• 6 years' experience setting up, configuring and using AWS cloud operational tools to ensure service level agreements and performance targets are met, and continued compliance with policies, standards and guidelines.
• Experience in writing, testing and maintaining Python code.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or technical discipline (10 years additional work experience might be considered in lieu of a degree).
• Experience with Application Performance Monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics.
• Experience with Cloud Governance tools like Turbot.
• Experience with Containerization using Red Hat OpenShift.
• Experience with AWS Monitoring and Logging tools such as Quicksight, Eventbridge, Simple Notification Service (SMS), Elasticsearch, CloudTrail, CloudWatch.
• Experience with AWS Networking components like Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Route S3, API Gateway, Direct Connect, Appstream 2.0, Transit Gateway, Elastic LoadBalancer, Firewall Manager, WAF & Shield.
• Experience with AWS Storage solutions including Cloud Tiering Services to S3, Simple Storage Services (S3), S3 Glacier, Storage Gateway, Elastic File System (EFS), Backup.
• Experience with Azure Security tools such as Monitor, Event Hubs, Security Center, Information Protection, Key Vault, PowerBI, Network Watcher.
• Experience creating, testing, and maintaining Amazon Machine Images.
• ITIL certification or ITIL knowledge.
• Some experience with network and/or systems administration in Linux (Red Hat) or Windows environments.
• Some knowledge of security regulations, best practices, countermeasures, compliance standards and current threats.
• Experience creating technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and how-to guides.
• Experience helping application teams with system administration.
• Experience with at least one configuration technology including: Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes.

Nice To Haves

• Current AWS or Azure certification or a recent passing exam (e.g., AWS CCP, AWS CSA associate/professional, AZ-900, AZ-104).
• Experience with Cloud Security tools such as Nessus, NetSkope, Enterprise Security External Change Council, Identity and Assessment Management, Continuous Monitoring as a Service, McAfee, eMASS, Centrify.
• Experience with DevOps/Configuration Management/Help Desk tools like Ansible, Service Desk, ScienceLogic, ServiceNOW, SPLUNK, Jira ServiceDesk, Cloudockit, GitHub.
• Experience with Migration tools like CloudKey, Version One.
• Experience with Reporting tools such as Apptio Cloud Service Provider (CSP) Operational Tools/Services.
• Experience with AWS Security tools like System Manager, CloudWatch, Config, CloudTrail, Elasticsearch, GuardDuty, Inspector, Key Management Service, Security Hub, Directory Service, Identity and Access Management, Resource Access Manager, Cognito, Secrets Manager, Certificate Manager, Artifact.
• Experience with Azure Networking components like Virtual Network, Traffic Manager, DNS, Application Gateway, Express Route, WebApps, FrontDoor, VPN Gateway, LoadBalancer, Firewall.
• Ability to provide technical support and OS-level remediations for Nessus scans.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational input and support for the operations, maintenance, and refinement of client's Enterprise Cloud environment.
• Execution support for migrating new and legacy client applications and services to cloud computing.
• Continuous improvement of client's IT infrastructure.
• Support clients in their cloud operations to enhance, optimize, and maintain their computing capabilities across their technical landscape.
• Work with client system admins when supporting application teams.
• Operate & maintain (O&M) client applications on their cloud platform.
• Utilize the client Enterprise Cloud Operational Tools, CSP native portals and tools, and/or other client TRM-approved tools necessary to assist client applications in the client's enterprise cloud.
• Utilize automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Formation, or similar.
• Assist with upgrading, installing, and configuring monitoring solutions for AWS or Azure for Windows or Linux servers.
• Create and maintain gold images/scripts.
• Assist with reporting on current infrastructure status.
• Document each application's production operations processes via a production operation manual (POM).
