About The Position

The Auto Glass Technician Trainee position at Safelite is an entry-level role designed for individuals looking to start a career in auto glass installation and repair. Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid state-issued driver's license required.
• Comfortable working outside in various weather conditions.
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• High school diploma/GED/equivalent preferred; ability to read and write.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair auto glass under supervision.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems as part of the training.
• Provide additional services and products to customers.
• Study and pass testing to become a Safelite-certified Technician.
• Safely operate a company vehicle and utilize company-issued tools.

Benefits

• Competitive weekly pay starting at $23.02/hour, increasing to $26.60/hour after training and certification.

• Earn up to $31.50/hour as a Senior Tech & up to $33.80/hour as a Master Tech.
