The job overview for this role is to work closely with the product manager, engineers, and designers to define the experience and features of OJO's consumer product. The role involves leading agile scrum rituals, prioritizing items in the product backlog, translating requirements into tickets, and integrating user feedback to enhance user satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a curious, creative, and analytical individual who strives to have a big impact and is eager to lead the product lifecycle end-to-end. A bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience are required.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the product manager, engineers, and designers to define the experience and features of the consumer product
- Lead agile scrum rituals, including sprint planning and backlog grooming
- Clearly articulate and prioritize items in the product backlog
- Translate product requirements and reported bugs into tickets in JIRA
- Communicate upcoming product features and user experience changes to key stakeholders
- Work closely with engineers and participate in user acceptance testing
- Integrate user feedback, research, and data analysis to enhance user satisfaction and drive product success
- Demonstrate an inclusive approach to work and lead with empathy
- Create change in industries with long-standing norms and routines
- Craft solutions that are fast, relevant, simple, comprehensive, and reliable for users
- Test new ideas using data and hypotheses
- Strive to have a big impact and constantly learn new things on the job
- Possess a Bachelor's degree
- Have 2+ years of experience in program or project management, software engineering, or product marketing
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
