About the position
We are seeking a highly skilled team member to join us in our mission to engage Medicare members and facilitate their enrollment into government programs. This role is crucial in supporting the enrollment process, managing a growing team, and directly assisting Medicare members in achieving their enrollment goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for people management, ensuring team performance, fostering operational excellence, and continuously improving workflows and processes. Strong communication skills, experience with telephonic outreach, and the ability to navigate complex social service spaces are essential for this role. Fluency in Spanish and English is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day people management for a subset of the Engagement Coordinator team
- Conduct outbound telephonic outreach to conduct eligibility checks for members
- Be responsible for the team's performance and provide proactive and consistent updates on their contribution to targets
- Foster a culture of operational excellence and ensure the team delivers on SLAs and KPIs
- Test new workflows and continuously improve existing SOPs and processes
- Support members as a senior level individual contributor Engagement Coordinator
- Partner with technology and product teams
- Lead and manage small teams
- Deliver effective feedback and coaching to team members
- Manage multiple queues of work and effectively manage the team's time
- Communicate progress, challenges, and needs/questions to various levels of the organization
- Engage marginalized populations through telephonic outreach
- Manage high performing teams and individuals through empowerment and accountability
- Navigate fast-moving/growing organizations and make effective decisions
- Demonstrate top-notch organizational and time management skills
- Learn and implement workflow improvements based on process learnings
- Problem-solve and triage issues that arise
- Navigate the complexity of the social service space
- Fluency in Spanish and English is a bonus.
Requirements
- Experience leading and managing small teams
- Ability to deliver effective feedback and coaching to team members
- Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple queues of work
- Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with various levels of the organization
- Experience with telephonic outreach, particularly with marginalized populations
- Experience managing high-performing teams and individuals through empowerment and accountability
- Ability to navigate fast-moving and growing organizations and make effective decisions
- Strong organizational skills and time management skills
- Desire to learn and improve processes through workflow improvements
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Understanding and appreciation of the complexity of the social service space
- Fluency in Spanish and English is a bonus
Benefits
- Pay Rate: $52,000
- Location: Salt Lake City, Utah
- Hybrid work environment: work 2 days in the office and 3 days WFH.*Subject to change based on operational needs
- Hours of operation: Monday to Friday - 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM MST
