Associate Analyst, Commercial Analytics

We are seeking an Analytics Manager to join our team at KAYAK. This role will support our EMEA commercial team and requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with large amounts of data and be proactive in analyzing and organizing information from multiple sources. This position will involve collaborating with various departments and building cross-functional relationships. The ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment is crucial. The Analytics Manager will be responsible for supervising daily performance, fulfilling reporting requests, producing easy-to-read reports, maintaining data quality, investigating discrepancies, and defining critical metrics. A BA/BS degree, online industry experience, proficiency in MS Excel and SQL, and familiarity with reporting systems are required. Fluency in English is a must, and additional languages are a plus.

• Supervise daily performance of all verticals for EMEA: be on top of traffic changes, shifts in business metrics, product updates and A/B tests.
• Support the EMEA commercial team by fulfilling all partners' reporting and internal analytics requests.
• Produce easy to read reports, graphs and tables for external consumption and help clients understand the numbers.
• Maintain and assure data quality in dashboards and reports for internal use.
• Investigate discrepancies in key business metrics among different reporting and data sources.
• Define the needed critical metrics in conjunction with the rest of the business team.

• BA/BS degree required, preferably in Business, Economics, IT, or similar.
• 3 years online industry experience. Travel industry experience a plus.
• Excellent MS Excel, PowerPoint, and G Suite.
• Experience in big data; understanding of databases and ETL.
• 2+ years of SQL experience.
• Familiarity with reporting systems and software visualization tools. Knowledge of Cognos, Salesforce a plus.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken, is a must. Any additional language is a plus.
• Results oriented, with high attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to effectively liaise and communicate with other internal KAYAK teams, also across different offices.
