About The Position

The Associate Account Manager at First American Financial Corporation is responsible for managing assigned accounts to increase market share and meet specific revenue and strategic objectives. This role serves as the primary interface with customers, developing comprehensive account strategies, coordinating service efforts, and ensuring client satisfaction. The position also involves sales and business development responsibilities, requiring strong product knowledge and communication skills to effectively manage client relationships and drive business growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of related experience in account management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of the lending and banking industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent training skills.

Responsibilities

  • Achieves assigned revenue quota and goals consistent with the company's strategic plans for top accounts.
  • Takes leadership role in establishing senior management contacts and relationships with assigned accounts.
  • Develops long-term strategic account plans identifying potential business opportunities and defining goals and resource requirements.
  • Coordinates efforts with other Account Managers and company management responsible for other locations, divisions, or subsidiaries of the account.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with the account at all levels, utilizing company management and resources for high visibility.
  • Provides strategic direction and coordinates efforts of other Account Managers assigned to the account.
  • Identifies new business opportunities and collaborates with other Account Managers and company resources to prioritize and integrate them into the account plan.
  • Qualifies opportunities by determining customer needs, timeframes, and purchasing capabilities.
