About The Position
The position involves developing the overall program management of orchestral music for the campus, providing students with opportunities to participate in extracurricular orchestra activities, and ensuring compliance with all regional, state, University Interscholastic League (UIL), Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA), and district goals/requirements. The role requires collaboration with elementary music specialists and middle school orchestra feeder program teachers to recruit and retain students in the orchestra programs, as well as planning activities to achieve district, region, and state recognition.
