About the position
Kobalt Music is seeking a Finance Assistant to join their Global Finance team. The role involves performing accounts payable activities, supporting client payments, and assisting with ad-hoc tasks and projects. The Finance Assistant will be responsible for processing invoices, managing payment runs, reconciling supplier statements, and ensuring compliance with financial processes. Strong organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with stakeholders, are desired. The company offers support for professional qualifications and provides a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities
- Processing daily invoices and setting up payments
- Managing payment runs twice a week
- Performing Supplier Statement Reconciliations
- Handling internal and external queries related to areas of responsibility
- Ensuring compliance with company financial processes and procedures
- Using Netsuite to process purchase orders, bill open purchase orders, and process payments in Kyriba
- Using Excel for reconciliations
- Demonstrating excellent organizational and time management skills
- Having awareness of deadlines and competing priorities
- Collaborating with various stakeholders
- Bonus points for strong Excel skills and previous use of Netsuite
- Adapting to a fast-paced department
- Having an interest in obtaining an ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualification (with support from Kobalt)
