Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Design or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years of design experience, preferably in sleepwear or a comparable retail environment.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft Office; Centric experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and acute attention to detail.
• Commercially driven fashion sensibility with a focus on styling and functionality.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing sleepwear designs that reflect brand vision and business strategy.
• Create and deliver design sketches, flat sketches, CAD images, and detailed construction specifications.
• Prepare and maintain sample rooms and organize design assets for team use.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Technical Design, and Merchandising, to ensure seamless communication and execution of designs.
• Support design team preparation for milestone meetings, including presentation boards, tableaus, and sample selections.
• Partner with technical design to oversee fit processes and ensure timely execution of prototypes.
• Track and organize development samples, ensuring timely delivery and handoff.
• Conduct trend analysis and competitor research to inform design decisions.
• Create mood boards and conceptual presentations to articulate design vision clearly.
• Adapt designs based on feedback and finalize for production.
• Foster strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to meet business goals.
