About The Position

The Assembly Technician will play a crucial role in the development of a portable ion trap mass spectrometer. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a rapidly growing company and has the potential to transition into a permanent role. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and capable of working efficiently under tight deadlines.

Requirements

• 3+ years of mechanical assembly experience.
• IPC 610 certification for soldering.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Experience with quality control processes.
• Familiarity with spectrometer technology.
• Mechanical knowledge related to assembly and rework.
• Experience with surface mount technology.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the electrical and mechanical assembly and rework of mass spectrometers.
• Maintain cleanliness in the lab, including MSDS documentation and ESD control.
