About The Position

The Assembler position at Enerpac Tool Group Corp. involves assembling hydraulic tools and components in a manufacturing environment. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Low to moderate degree of mechanical, technical, and/or analytic knowledge and experience.
  • Ability to work within teams and communicate effectively and professionally.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on producing high-quality products.
  • Logical reasoning skills for troubleshooting and testing products.
  • Ability to operate air wrenches and other hand/power tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak basic English.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with assembly tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble pumps, industrial tools, and other hydraulic products or components by following work instructions and bill of materials (BOM).
  • Assemble mechanical assemblies, sub-assembly components, and part preparation using hand tools and light power tools.
  • Suggest modifications to work instructions and BOMs to ensure accuracy and repeatability.
  • Test built products and components as defined by work instructions.
  • Operate test stands to ensure accurate assembly of pumps and products.
  • Follow defined work processes and procedures, including ISO standards and safety protocols.
  • Cross-train others on cells/product lines where employees have not yet been exposed.
  • Conduct quality inspections on products and parts and troubleshoot as needed.
  • Prepare finished products for shipment, ensuring they meet quality standards.
  • Complete data entry to maintain accurate inventory.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area utilizing 5S techniques.
