Responsibilities
- Pick up shipments of high value from the UPS HUB of an airport and transport them to a consignee within the area.
- Check that all pieces are received and that the seals are intact and match the manifest.
- Provide outbound services of picking up packages from local businesses or residences and delivering them to the UPS airport hub.
- Complete a security threat assessment (STA) form and submit it for clearance through TSA.
- Carry necessary items such as cutters, extra shipping supplies, and tamper bags.
Requirements
- Must be licensed as an Armed Security Guard within your home state (if required in the state).
- Must have a valid weapons permit for the state you reside in.
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be able to be on-call when the shipments come in.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
