About The Position

The position involves managing, designing, developing, and creating architectural plans and projects using ACAD in a professional, creative, efficient, accurate, and timely manner. The role requires compliance with local, state, and national codes for various building types, including hospitals and businesses. The individual will work under the direction of the Director and collaborate with internal staff, Facility Management, architects, engineers, contractors, state reviewers, and vendors. Responsibilities include managing space allocation and addressing all facility-related issues as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from an accredited school.
• Minimum of 2 years of Architectural Work Experience.
• Prove future ability to be a Licensed Architect in the State of Texas.
• Licensed Architect preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Licensed Architect with Hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage, design, develop, and create architectural plans/projects using ACAD.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and national codes for various building types.
• Collaborate with internal staff, Facility Management, architects, engineers, contractors, state reviewers, and vendors.
• Manage space allocation and facility-related issues for construction projects.
• Coordinate and manage projects as directed.
• Oversee the Draftsman position to assist in the production of CAD drawings.
• Work with Engineering Consultants to coordinate construction drawings effectively.
• Assist in the development of long-term strategic plans across all campuses.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Handle confidential information professionally.
