About The Position

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to attend 144 hours of class alongside a regular work schedule.
• Up-to-date physical examination to demonstrate capability for construction work.
• Pass a drug test and pre-employment knowledge and skills test.
• OSHA 10-hour certification required prior to start date (company will provide the online course at no cost).

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in mechanical piping or plumbing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in classroom instruction and on-the-job training to learn the industrial pipefitting trade.
• Work on various projects including hospitals, laboratories, and large industrial installations.
• Gain experience with industrial process piping systems, focusing on compliance with industry standards and codes.
• Learn to read and interpret blueprints related to pipefitting tasks.
• Acquire skills in bevel joint cutting using an oxy-acetylene torch.
