Join First Resonance as an Applications Engineer and play a pivotal role in revolutionizing the manufacturing industry with our innovative software solution, ION. Our team works with cutting-edge companies worldwide, providing them with the tools and ideology to build better, faster, and with enhanced traceability. We are seeking Manufacturing Engineers or those with manufacturing experience to bring their expertise to our dynamic Sales team. As an Applications Engineer, you will ensure our customers achieve outstanding results by gathering valuable insights from prospective and current customers and identifying and relating to our customer’s challenges.
Responsibilities
- Provide regional support to First Resonance Sales by communicating extensive product, technological, and practical knowledge during sales visits, web conferences, and teleconferences.
- Conduct on-site manufacturing operation audits for prospective and current customers to understand, address, and improve their priorities, business goals, and requirements.
- Identify solutions to customer's needs that utilize existing product functionality.
- Communicate product enhancement requests that go beyond current product functionality.
- Draft custom engineering requests to accurately describe customer's background, motivation, and requirements for functionality.
- Author technical response documentation in support of sales opportunities.
- Develop new or contribute to existing technical sales collateral.
- Support webinars, trade shows, user group meetings, and similar events.
- Maintain a productive and collaborative relationship between sales applications and deployment.
- Support additional capacities such as training sessions and satellite office support.
- Continuous self-education on new releases and product capabilities.
- Possess exceptional communication skills in both written and oral English.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Proficiency in learning new software features with minimal guidance.
- Working knowledge of supporting application software.
- Produce well-written summarized reports for management and colleagues.
- Curiosity and passion for solving manufacturing problems using modern software solutions.
- Willingness to travel to customers (up to 25%).
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing-related fields, such as autonomous vehicles, computer vision, robotics, etc.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related Technology field.
- Exceptional communication skills in both written and oral English.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Proficiency in learning new software features with minimal guidance.
- Working knowledge of supporting application software, such as Google Apps, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Possess the skills necessary to produce well-written summarized reports for management and colleagues.
- Curiosity and passion for solving manufacturing problems using modern software solutions.
- Willingness to travel to customers (Up to 25%).
