About the position
We are seeking a mission-driven team member to support enrollment operations and ensure the successful enrollment of Medicare members in government programs. This non-member facing role will be responsible for coordinating the application process, working closely with member-facing teams to gather necessary information and documents. The role will also involve evaluating applications for completeness and accuracy, becoming a subject matter expert on the application process across different states, and collaborating with technology and product teams to improve processes. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliant processing and submission of documents and applications through the Uno ecosystem to government agencies
- Meet SLAs and KPIs for application operations, providing updates on work funnels and flagging delays and blockers to key stakeholders
- Evaluate applications for completeness and accuracy, determining next steps in complex cases
- Become the subject matter expert for the application process across multiple states
- Collaborate with technology and product teams to document and improve tooling and processes
- Monitor partner receiving time-sensitive inbound mail in a digital format
- Impact member experience through efficient and detail-oriented work
- Assist with administrative tasks, office management, patient coordination, and customer support
- Work cross-functionally with other enrollment operations teams
- Utilize various technology tools such as Google Suite, CRMs, and ticketing queues
- Pay extreme attention to detail and navigate government applications and documentation
- Manage multiple queues of work and effectively prioritize daily goals
- Communicate effectively, especially in written form
- Employ creative problem-solving skills to address issues that arise
- Understand the complexity of the social service space and navigate through it
- Have experience working with government agencies
- Desire to revolutionize support for low-income Medicare members
- Excitement about working in an early-stage startup and taking on responsibility within a growing team
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in administrative assistance, office management, patient coordination, customer support
- Ability to work cross-functionally to collaborate with other enrollment operations teams
- Experience working with multiple technology tools at once and are able to pick up on new skills and tools quickly (Google Suite, CRMs, ticketing queues)
- Extreme attention to detail and desire to go deep into the weeds of government applications and documentation
- Ability to maintain multiple queues of work and manage time effectively to deliver on daily goals
- Excellent communication skills, especially written
- Creative problem-solving skills to triage issues that arise
- Understanding of the complexity of the social service space and knowing how to navigate through it
- Experience working with government agencies
Benefits
- Pay Rate: $58,500, $12,000 bonus potential
- Location: NY, NY 20 West 20th Street
- Hybrid work environment: work 2 days in the office and 3 days WFH.
- Hours of operation: Monday to Friday - 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST
