Android Software Engineer

As an Android Software Engineer at iFood, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and operating applications that simplify and disrupt the way people eat through applied technology. You will collaborate with the team in defining coding style guides, building prototypes, enforcing quality during code review, and debugging performance issues. Additionally, you will integrate with third-party APIs and scale components efficiently. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in building high-performance, scalable applications using Java or Kotlin and integrating with REST APIs.

• Collaborate in the definition of concepts such as project-wide coding style guides
• Build quick prototypes to prove concepts
• Enforce quality during code review and maintenance practices
• Debug performance issues in apps and bottlenecks in CI lanes
• Integrate with third party APIs
• Efficiently scale components through tuning and/or major refactorings
• Conceptualize and develop components for a monorepo mobile app
