Wedbush Securities is seeking candidates for an Investment Banking Analyst position with our FIG team in our New York City office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University, preferably in Business or other related field.
  • 2-years' experience as an IB Analyst with a focus on Financial/Banks preferred, minimum of 1-year of experience required.
  • Excellent quantitative/math skills and agility with numbers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize daily work flow.
  • Requires high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Provide transaction support to senior bankers on a broad range of corporate finance transactions including IPOs, secondary offerings, private placements, mergers & acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and valuations.
  • Manage several concurrent projects and work effectively as part of a team or individually.
  • Prepare client presentations.
  • Perform due diligence.
  • Financial analysis and modeling.
  • Assist in preparation of company marketing and transactions materials.
  • Interact with clients during presentations and deal executions.
  • Performs other tasks and duties as required and assigned.
