About The Position

Apple's AIML residency is a year-long program designed for experts in various fields to apply their domain expertise in machine learning and AI to innovate and create groundbreaking products and experiences. Residents will engage in hands-on projects, collaborate with mentors and peers, and gain valuable experience in a human-centered machine learning research team focused on accessibility and education.

Requirements

• Proficiency in a programming language such as Python, Objective-C, C++, Swift, and/or R
• Experience completing a moderate-sized software project
• Demonstrated ability to connect and collaborate with others
• Graduate degree in a STEM field or equivalent industry experience in software engineering

Nice To Haves

• Academic, research, or industry experience in Accessibility, Human Computer Interaction/Design, Learning Sciences, or Machine Learning & ML Research
• Thesis, capstone project, internship, co-op, or proven experience in relevant fields
