About The Position

AdventHealth Kansas City is searching for a highly skilled and patient-focused endocrinologist to add to its busy existing group. Our physicians provide a full range of endocrinology and diabetes care. The practice employs a full-time Certified Diabetes Educators and has convenient access to dieticians due to its location on the hospital campus. The position is an in/outpatient opportunity.

Requirements

• Fellowship trained in endocrinology.
• Board certified.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Respect for patients, co-workers, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of endocrinology and diabetes care.
• Participate in a 1 in 4 call rotation.
• Manage inpatient care during call weeks with no obligation to do outpatient clinic those weeks.
• Respond to 24-hour call (inpatient and cover outpatient clinic call at night).
• Handle 15-20 daily inpatients.
• Allot 4 hours per week for administrative duties.
