About The Position

The Aerospace Quality Assurance Auditor at Bombardier is responsible for ensuring compliance with quality management systems and conducting audits of suppliers and service centers. This role involves documentation, reporting, and tracking of quality assurance projects, as well as providing inter-departmental support and technology input. Requirements

  • At least five years of experience in a technical field (manufacturing, aerospace, defense, etc.).
  • At least three years of experience in auditing to Quality Management System requirements.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Exposure to/awareness of data compilation and tracking methods.
  • Exposure to/awareness of reporting with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Exposure to/awareness of training and presentation methods/skills.
  • Exposure to/awareness of policy/procedure writing methods.
  • Knowledge of regulatory Quality Systems (FAA, EASA, CAAC, etc.), Quality Assurance, and/or other technical systems within a regulatory environment.
  • Basic awareness around gaining foreign aircraft maintenance organization authorizations and certifications.
  • Basic awareness of writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Supplemental Manuals to support foreign certifications.
  • Ability to travel to off-sites within the network (Domestic and Foreign).

Responsibilities

  • Develop, analyze, maintain, assist and support key programs/projects managed by the Quality Assurance Department.
  • Be responsible for documentation, reporting and tracking of these projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Conduct supplier (onsite and external) assessment and approval within established parameters.
  • Perform onsite internal audits of service centers (domestic and international).
  • Coordinate and conduct audits of mobile trucks.
  • Initiate, manage and monitor audit related corrective actions.
  • Perform onsite vendor audits (non certificated maintenance vendors) as needed.
  • Provide inter-departmental support in QA related activities (i.e., Audit follow-up, training/coordination follow-up, Supplier Quality follow-up and coordination).
  • Provide technology support/input (web page support & input).
  • Support QA related training materials (i.e., SQM, Auditing, PMA).
  • Assist with KPI development and tracking.
  • Assist with other QA related activities (i.e., department projects, Monthly Reports).
  • Assist other QA Analysts with reporting needs as required.
