About the position
The Advocacy & Customer Marketing Specialist will be responsible for supporting the marketing department's initiatives with a focus on advocacy marketing and sharing those stories and value through thought leadership tactics, social media, and marketing campaigns. They will coordinate advocacy marketing efforts, manage the online customer community, generate customer content, and interact with customer advocates regularly. Additionally, they will serve as a liaison between marketing, sales, and other internal stakeholders to support customer marketing and account-based marketing strategies. Overall, the role requires strong writing skills, interpersonal communication skills, and creative thinking.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate advocacy marketing efforts through online communities, social networks, events, and other channels
- Share the voice of client advocates through various marketing channels such as webinars, conference sessions, user groups, case studies, videos, etc.
- Manage the online customer community by creating challenges, posting messages, interacting with members, sending welcome messages, managing rewards, and maintaining a calendar of exclusive webinars and product demos
- Build relationships with clients as brand advocates and ambassadors
- Generate customer content for marketing and other company needs
- Interact with customer advocates regularly through personalized messages and comments
- Create social media campaigns on behalf of customer advocacy
- Solicit speakers for conference sessions and webinars, manage presentation development, and slides
- Identify and work with clients to develop testimonials and case studies
- Assist with customer satisfaction surveys and use results to inform client advocacy program
- Serve as a liaison between marketing, sales, and other internal stakeholders for customer marketing and account-based marketing (ABM) strategy
- Assist in the development of creative briefs and project plans for targeted accounts and campaigns
- Manage tasks and coordinate with the marketing team for ABM projects
- Prepare analysis and reporting on outcomes of ABM initiatives
- Support marketing initiatives with planning, executing, and tracking of campaigns and programs
- Provide support for awareness, demand generation, and client loyalty initiatives
- Assist in the development of sales and buyer enablement tools
- Provide support to initiatives to increase usage of these resources
Requirements
- Strong writing skills and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to coordinate advocacy marketing efforts through various channels
- Experience in managing online customer communities and boosting engagement
- Ability to generate customer content for marketing purposes
- Familiarity with social media campaigns and customer advocacy
- Proficiency in soliciting speakers for conferences and webinars
- Experience in developing testimonials and case studies
- Knowledge of customer satisfaction surveys and using results to strengthen client relationships
- Ability to support customer marketing and account-based marketing strategies
- Proficiency in project management and coordinating tasks with marketing team
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
