About The Position

Quincy Medical Group (QMG) is seeking a skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Nursing Home care team. As a Nurse Practitioner (NP), you will provide exceptional care to a diverse adult patient population, collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive medical services.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing is required.
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Illinois.
• National certification as a Nurse Practitioner (ANCC, AANP) is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in Internal Medicine or primary care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and perform physical exams.
• Develop treatment plans for patients.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests.
• Interpret diagnostic test results.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and families on health management and preventive care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
