About The Position
The Adult Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner is a highly skilled professional member of the Interdisciplinary Team with the primary responsibility of providing consultations to palliative care patients and their families within their scope of practice. The incumbent in this position will support the mission, vision, values and strategic initiatives of HospiceCare in The Berkshires and must demonstrate a commitment to quality service to patients, physicians, and the public. The Nurse Practitioner leads the Palliative Care team. This professional performs patient/family evaluations, complex pain and symptom management, assess psychosocial needs and collaborates with attending or specialty physicians to provide appropriate care.
