About the position
The job overview for the Administrative Technical Program Manager role is to deliver a wide range of Network and Audio-Visual (AV) products with high quality standards and minimal supervision. This includes managing wireless deployments, mobile builds, conference rooms, training rooms, and network environments. The Technical Program Manager is responsible for overseeing program progress, resolving issues, coordinating teams, conducting audits, and providing business reports. They should have a comprehensive understanding of AV and Network products, anticipate risks, communicate effectively with non-tech customers, and consider global requirements for process development. They are expected to work independently and seek guidance as needed.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a full range of Network and Audio-Visual (AV) products including conference rooms, presentation rooms, training rooms, wireless deployments, mobile builds, IDF expansions, and Managed Network Environments
- Ensure all products are held to the highest quality standards with minimal supervision
- Manage and track progress and performance of all in-scope programs
- Resolve program-level issues and minimize impact to customers
- Coordinate and facilitate teams to bring programs to completion
- Conduct periodic audits and provide recommendations to streamline processes
- Create and maintain an archive of Lessons Learned
- Provide periodic business reports
- Deliver standard and custom AV designs
- Assist in cross-regional projects or operate in new areas within the portfolio
- Understand the technology capabilities of each product and anticipate and mitigate risks
- Effectively communicate with non-tech customers and influence customer decisions
- Consider global requirements when addressing process development
- Drive change or redesign when needed
- Choose the right product for the project and work independently, seeking guidance only when necessary.
