About The Position

The Activities Director at Celebration Villa of Allison Park is responsible for enriching the social, mental, and physical lives of seniors by planning and directing high-quality programming. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 5 years of full-time experience in Activities, with at least 3 years as an Activities Director or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Clean driving record and ability to drive a large resident passenger vehicle.
• Activity Director Certified and previous long-term care experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide seniors with interesting, engaging, and enriching activities to enhance their lives.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate activities programs to meet the needs of the residents in the facility.
• Promote interest and participation in recreational activities.
• Assess residents for programs and arrange for one-on-one programming for individuals as needed.
• Coordinate and provide necessary transportation.
• Manage department budget for supplies and staff.
• Enforce rules and regulations to maintain discipline and ensure safety per state and federal regulations.
• Relate to residents, family members, public, and other professionals appropriately.
• Report any issues or problems that may arise to the Administrator.
• Promote and exemplify the Priority Life Care mission and values at all times.
