Requirements

  • Associate Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or High School Diploma with 3 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum three (3) years' experience in Accounting required
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Comfortable using computer applications for various tasks beyond general accounting
  • Customer focused - internal and external
  • Plan and organize work activities with excellent time management skills
  • Ability to focus on detail, while working effectively and efficiently
  • Positive team member, collaborates well, and great interpersonal skills
  • Ability to listen and communicate effectively

Nice To Haves

  • Government contracting experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Process vendor invoices utilizing the Company's financial system
  • Ensure imaging of invoices and supporting documents in timely and accurately manner
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
  • Monitor open Purchase Orders and unvouched receipts to ensure timely and accurate payments
  • Process customer invoices within the accounting system and send to customers
  • Assist with audit support as necessary
  • Other accounting or administrative duties as assigned
