Accountant / Assistant Manager (Crypto/Trading & Ops)

This role is for a crypto trading and options accountant who will be responsible for accurate record-keeping of all cryptocurrency and options trading transactions. They will also ensure tax compliance, analyze financial data, manage risks, ensure regulatory compliance, provide advice to clients on trading-related issues, and liaise with auditors for financial monitoring. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent, relevant experience in TradFi or Crypto, and knowledge of local accounting GAAP.

- Record-keeping: Keeping accurate records of all cryptocurrency trading and options trading transactions, including purchases, sales, transfers, and other related activities. - Tax compliance: Ensuring all tax obligations related to cryptocurrency and options trading are met, including preparing and filing tax returns, calculating tax liabilities, and ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws. - Trading analysis: Analyzing financial data related to cryptocurrency and options trading transactions and providing insights into financial performance, investment opportunities, and risk factors. - Risk management: Identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with cryptocurrency and options trading, such as market volatility, fraudulent activity, theft, and cybersecurity threats. - Regulatory compliance: Ensuring that all cryptocurrency and options trading transactions comply with applicable regulatory requirements, such as anti-money laundering laws and know-your-customer (KYC) regulations. - Stakeholder's service: Providing advice and support to clients on various cryptocurrency and options trading-related issues, including investment strategies, tax implications, and risk management. - Liaising with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
