About the position
As an Account Manager at Tropic, you will be responsible for retaining and growing existing client relationships. You will serve as the main decision-maker for your accounts and play a crucial role in new product releases. This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing company and be a founding member of the Account Management team. If you have experience in b2b SaaS sales or account management and a proven track record of high performance, this role offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $120,000 with additional benefits and incentives.
Responsibilities
- Retain and grow existing book of business via renewal, upsell, and cross-sell
- Own the end-to-end commercial relationship with clients
- Develop, nurture, and leverage relationships with senior DMs
- Serve as the internal champion for our clients to resolve issues as they arise
- Serve as the external champion for our Customer Success & Commercial Executive teams to resolve issues as they arise
- Play a crucial role in building and improving our service org
- Help develop go-to-market strategies for all new product releases
Requirements
- 3+ years experience working in b2b SaaS sales (closing) and/or account management
- Proven track record of high level performance relative to quota and peers
- Ability to retain and grow existing book of business via renewal, upsell, and cross-sell
- Ownership of the end-to-end commercial relationship with clients
- Development, nurturing, and leveraging of relationships with senior DMs
- Ability to serve as the internal champion for clients to resolve issues as they arise
- Ability to serve as the external champion for Customer Success & Commercial Executive teams to resolve issues as they arise
- Crucial role in building and improving the service org
