About the position

The job overview for the Account Manager role at FreshBooks is to connect with existing customers and ensure they are maximizing their experience with the company's accounting software. The Account Manager will provide solutions, analyze data, and demonstrate the value of the product and services. With a focus on European clients, the role involves managing a large account base and exceeding monthly quotas. The ideal candidate will have B2B sales experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Run deep discovery calls to identify challenges in prospects' financial processes
  • Recommend solutions and win opportunities to exceed monthly quotas
  • Manage pipeline and engage with account base of thousands of customers
  • Assist Team Lead or Sales Manager with projects to drive team's KPIs
  • Bring 2-3 years of B2B sales experience with quota exceeding performance
  • Have full sales cycle experience and successful experience uncovering customers' business challenges
  • Work with SMB clients and have experience in high velocity sales with high levels of daily activity
  • Be flexible to adjust to shifting priorities
  • Have experience using Salesforce
  • Stand out if you have sales training and experience with SalesLoft or similar tools
  • Stand out if you have experience with prospecting and cold calling
  • Fluency in more than 1 Western European language in a business context is a plus

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of B2B sales experience, exceeding quotas
  • Full sales cycle experience
  • Successful experience uncovering customers' business challenges
  • Experience working with SMB clients
  • Experience in high velocity sales with high levels of daily activity
  • Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities
  • Experience using Salesforce
  • Sales training experience (ex. SPIN, MEDDIC, Winning by Design, Predictable Revenue, etc.)
  • Experience with SalesLoft or similar (Outreach)
  • Experience with prospecting and cold calling
  • Fluent in more than 1 Western European language for business communication
