About the position
We are seeking an Account Management Lead (North America) to join our rapidly expanding Wise Platform team. In this role, you will lead our regional Account Management team, supporting them in surpassing revenue targets and driving growth from our partnerships with companies like Mercury, Google Pay, and Brex. Responsibilities
- Lead the regional Account Management team and support them throughout the commercial process
- Overcome blockers to exceed revenue targets from live partnerships
- Work with complex institutions to unlock growth opportunities and enable more customers to save when moving money
- Collaborate with global Account Management and Customer Success teams
- Collaborate with other functions across Wise Platform and the wider Wise organization
- Shape the Wise Platform AM team in North America and set the strategy and targets for the AM function in the region
- Own the P&L of a growing part of the business in North America
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the partner portfolio
- Build relationships with key stakeholders externally and internally
- Advocate for partners and contribute to the development of product suite and features in North America
- Scale a high-performing commercial team in the account management space
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders of all sizes
- Successfully grow accounts to generate increased revenues
- Be hands-on and work with the team to achieve partners' expectations and objectives
- Contribute significantly to the overarching Wise Platform mission
- Be customer-focused and enthusiastic about helping customers and delivering on the mission
- Find creative solutions to overcome obstacles and reach agreements that work for all parties involved.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of managerial experience scaling a high-performing commercial team in the account management space (payments or fintech experience is a plus)
- Experience in building and maintaining relationships with a range of stakeholders of all sizes – from CEOs, to heads of compliance, technology, risk, and innovation
- Track record of successfully growing accounts to generate increased revenues
- Hands-on approach, willing to actively engage with partners, listen to their feedback, and work with the team to devise plans to meet partners' expectations and achieve objectives
- Passionate about high-growth businesses and contributing to the Wise Platform mission
- Customer-focused and enthusiastic about helping customers and delivering on the mission
- Creative problem-solving skills to quickly reach agreements that benefit Wise, partners, and customers
