About The Position
Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at the OCFO HUB Warehouses. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our daily warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and governmental regulations as a Container Freight Station (CFS) and Certified Cargo Screening Facility (CCSF). Your primary focus will be on maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment, which includes managing inbound and outbound freight, resource planning, and scheduling. You will also play a crucial role in resolving operational issues through strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives. As part of your responsibilities, you will ensure the security of the warehouse in accordance with Maersk, state, and TSA regulations. You will be tasked with identifying and reporting any irregularities, such as damage reports, and maintaining the integrity of freight through strong knowledge of ULD and container loading/unloading processes. Additionally, you will be responsible for keeping equipment in working order and ensuring timely reporting of inventory and supplier stock. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You will be expected to set an example for others in terms of knowledge and reliability while managing your workload effectively to meet deadlines and compliance standards. This position may require you to work a rotating schedule, with shift hours varying between 7 AM and 10 PM.
