About The Position
As the Sr Analyst, Global Logistics, you will support At Home's logistics operations and strategies. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth functioning of the logistics network through active operational execution and provider performance management. You will be responsible for operating and analyzing the logistics network, developing recommendations, and taking the initiative to drive improvements that contribute to a best-in-class supply chain. The Global Logistics team plays a critical role in supporting business continuity, sales, and sustainability strategies. In this position, you will be responsible for the review, audit, and approval of domestic and import invoices while working closely with the freight audit service provider. Building strong relationships with carriers will be essential to streamline services and resolve any issues that may arise. You will collaborate with both internal and external teams to ensure timely payments to transportation carriers, and you will be tasked with reconciling open invoice aging reports for multiple vendors. Your analytical skills will be put to use as you review, audit, and summarize operational data to create clear and concise executive summaries and presentations. You will translate data findings into actionable recommendations for management and collaborate with various business units to gain a comprehensive understanding of processes, challenges, and strategies. This understanding will enable you to explain issues effectively and recommend viable solutions. Additionally, you will compile and analyze data to identify trends, proactively identify defects, and leverage creative problem-solving skills to support continuous improvement that drives logistics performance and cost optimization. You will also be responsible for forecasting weekly, monthly, and annual volumes, contributing to bid strategies, and executing bid activities for US import operations. Streamlining and simplifying processes and procedures will be key to supporting efficient management of the business, and you will assist teams in pulling together QBR scorecards while managing dray carriers and destination management providers.
