About The Position
DanceBUG Inc. is seeking a talented Sports (Dance) Photographer to join our team for a unique opportunity to capture dynamic dance performances across the United States. This position is crucial for our mission to provide high-quality dance media and to uphold our reputation as the industry standard in Dance Videography and Photography. As a Sports Photographer, you will be responsible for shooting high-quality images of dancers during various events, ensuring that each shot reflects the energy and artistry of the performances. You will be equipped with the latest technology and will have the chance to work with a team of dedicated professionals in the dance community. The role requires you to manage data effectively using custom software on a provided laptop, ensuring that all images are uploaded and/or shipped as required. You will also be expected to communicate effectively with your assigned Coach, Managers, and Onsite Contacts to ensure smooth operations during events. This position involves significant travel, as you will be attending events nationwide, capturing the essence of dance performances in various settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in photography, particularly in dance, live-action, sports, concerts, or theatre. You will need to demonstrate your ability to adjust camera settings on the fly, especially in low-light environments, to ensure optimal results. This role is not just about taking pictures; it’s about telling a story through your lens and contributing to the vibrant dance community that DanceBUG serves.
