The Specialist position at TDECU is designed to create a memorable experience for members by cultivating, maintaining, and enhancing relationships through proactive outreach efforts. This role involves engaging with members both in person and over the phone, providing tailored solutions that span across various aspects of their financial lives. The Specialist will process both basic and complex new accounts, account modifications, and loan requests, ensuring that members are educated on the latest Credit Union technology and digital solutions. The position requires a consultative approach to uncover and identify member needs, allowing for personalized recommendations and solutions. In addition to account management, the Specialist will perform lobby engagement activities to connect with members and position products that meet their needs. This includes troubleshooting and resolving member inquiries in a timely and friendly manner, navigating complex issues, and ensuring that members feel supported throughout their journey with TDECU. The role also emphasizes the importance of achieving personal sales goals through cross-selling various financial products, such as checking and savings accounts, credit cards, and loans. The Specialist is expected to maintain a high level of knowledge about TDECU's products and services to effectively cross-sell and provide solutions. They will own member issues through resolution, escalate feedback to management, and participate in community development activities that align with the Credit Union's mission and values. Compliance with mandatory testing and adherence to policies and procedures is also a critical aspect of this role, ensuring that all operations are conducted in accordance with the Bank Secrecy Act and TDECU's standards.
