About The Position
Battelle is seeking a Reverse Engineering/Vulnerability Research Intern for Summer 2025, located in Chantilly, VA. As a Reverse Engineering/Vulnerability Research Intern, you will collaborate with the Cyber Innovations Team to enhance reverse engineering and embedded system development capabilities. This role involves integrating hardware, software, and reverse engineering tasks while supporting the latest research and development programs within the Cyber Innovation Unit. You will have the chance to learn and refine your skills in reverse engineering and vulnerability research through various project and team-building activities. The position requires you to conduct assigned technical tasks with minimal supervision, effectively communicate ideas with fellow engineers, and work independently within a multi-disciplinary team environment. Battelle's Cyber Engineers tackle some of the toughest problems in Computer Science, working in small agile teams equipped with high-powered computer labs and specialized software and hardware. The work environment is casual, with team members often wearing t-shirts and jeans, and there are opportunities for social activities outside of work, such as dining out, bowling, and paintball.
