As a Consumer Engagement Leader (CEL), you will embody the core values and heritage of Carhartt while leading others to do the same. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our consumers and store associates receive exceptional service and support in the day-to-day operations of the store. As a CEL, you will lead through clear communication and foster an environment that prioritizes genuine consumer connection. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional consumer experiences that are engaging, efficient, and personalized. You will support the Store Leader and Assistant Store Leader in executing consumer experience program initiatives, visual merchandising, and maintaining visual standards. Your leadership will also extend to creating a positive and collaborative team environment, where associates feel empowered to bring their best selves to work every day. In addition to supporting the Store Leader and Assistant Store Leader with training, coaching, and feedback for associates, you will play a crucial role in the execution of store controls and operating standards. This includes policy and procedure administration, contributing to the store's profitability, and ensuring a safe work environment. You will communicate operational data, including product information and local competition insights, to help drive revenue-building strategies and monitor performance metrics to achieve store goals. Furthermore, you will assist in community engagement events and support the recruitment of potential talent for various positions within the store.
